"Is it try you left her for you know you?" She giggled, referring to you and her.
He sighed and answered "She and I didn't have a past, I didn't leave anyone for anyone."
You knew he referred to you and that made your heart break..
Everyone looked to you to find your reaction but he didn't look at you at all.
You looked to the ground.

He followed you, concerned.
You went to the stairs where tears just wouldn't stop falling.
"Hey?" He smiled.
You looked at him and sighed.
"I'm fine."
"You don't look fine," He said seriously.
"I know his comment hurt you."
"It didn't just hurt me, it destroyed me, I still can't believe that we spent almost 8 years together and he'd just say it didn't happen," You cried.
He noticed this and frowned.
"I'll get you home."
And he did.
He drove your car and you thanked him.
You wondered how he was gonna get home but he told you he'd just get a taxi.
You went to bed feeling sad but replaced with a feeling you haven't felt in a while.
