It's one thing to discuss the law in all its mindnumbing rule-setting glory. It's another to see copyright play out when challenged. And I love reading stories about copyright challenges and how they resolve, so this section is a gathering stories of people trying to process what copyright is and what it protects.
We'll look at situations like Right to Repair, software, and even social media. There have been some really interesting cases out there. What we will not cover in this section are copyright as it affects the performing arts or remix culture. Because those are the areas where I have and currently do work, I have a pretty healthy pile of those stories and they'll get own sections.
