Detention is somtimes for the greater good

You wake up early that next morning you get changed so happy from last nights kiss you go to the dining hall and sit down Luna walks over and sits infront of you " well you are super happy ....what happened I seen you sneak off with something " you laugh and look around you see professor snape walk in and looks at you tilting his head you look away blushing you grab Luna's hand and run off with her you stop and whisper " it was professor snape " she gasps " b-but HES a professor and ...and well you're a student " you nod your head " I know but there is no rule about that and well last night ....he kissed me ....like in the dream " she slightly giggles " well guess what " you tilt your head " what is it " she smiles " I got kissed too ....by Neville " you smile " I thought you two would be cute together but I kept it to myself " she giggles " well we better go we have classes " you both run off going to class and then going to potions together you tell her you will be right back and go to the dorms to find your potions book you find it then grab another notebook For notes of course and leave but before you do you get stopped my Draco he grabs your wrist and takes you in the opposite direction of the potions class room before you can say anything he wraps a handkerchief around your mouth and tries your hands behind your back and shoved you in a closet " this is what you get for making me look like a fool " he growls Crabb and Goyle behind him he slaps you and their eyes widen as they look at each other then him he then shuts the door and locks it and they all leave getting to potions before it starts after a few minutes you get free and uncover your mouth you get your wand out saying " alohomora " the unlocks and you rush out and open the door slowly snape looks up and he sees your red cheek that now is slightly bruising he looks at Draco who is looking at your cheek smirking and you sit down and look down snape saying " miss ( l/n ) since it took you so long to get here you'll have detention and maybe just maybe you can learn to be on time " he gives you a nod and you sit by Luna asking what went on she tells you and you both work until class is over when it's over everyone leaves snape grabs his wand shutting and locking the door then walking up to you and he touches your cheek anger on his face " Draco did it didn't he " you nod your head " dumbledore will know about this no one can lay a hand or even gander at my ward " he says as he turns away walking to his desk and opening a drawer " what sir ? ....yours ? " he looks up at you and then looks down pulling a bottle " um well ....never mind  come on we are going to dumbledore's office "  you both leave and go to dumbledore's office when you both walk in dumbledore instantly gets up walking to you seeing your cheek " my dear what happened " snape looks away saying " Draco happened he hit her " he says hold a potion out to you which you take looking at him " it will take the pain away and make the bruise disappear don't worry dear " snape says you uncork the bottle and drink it the pain leaves and the bruise vanishes " you both leave but find Draco and bring him hear Severus " you both leave he takes you to the common room and you go to your room then he goes and finds Draco and takes him to dumbledore's office he then goes to your room and knocks but you don't answer he peeks in and sees you asleep he steps in and grabs his cane from the end of the bed and lays it over you as you sleep " goodnight ....love " he then leaves going to his classroom he works and works and then goes to his chambers and falls asleep
