You are a test subject onboard the Ishimura when it is attacked by undead things kniwn as Necromorphs. Somehow partially immune to the Necromorph virus and having the ability to telepathically communicate with them, they decide to spare your life
When you landed on the planet, you couldn’t help but feel uneasy. Natalie placed one of her blades on your shoulder.
“Hey, it’s ok. We’ll help you”, she said gently. You nodded and got out of the shuttle before noticing a loader nearby.
“This should work”, you said as you moved the loader under the shuttle. When it was in place, you activated the loader, which gently removed the Marker from the shuttle and placed it on the tracks. You nodded and used your Kinesis module to move the Marker along the tracks.
“Ok so we need to find a pedestal. From what I can tell, these tracks must lead to it”, Leah said and you nodded before continuing to move the Marker along the tracks. You came across some doors and opened them before moving the Marker through. After several minutes of moving the Marker, you felt something jump on you and looked back to see what looked like a mutant baby latching onto you.

The baby was about to plunge three tentacles into your throat when Leah grabbed it using her tail and pulled it off you.
“No! He’s with us, he’s trying to help us!”, she shouted. The baby whined a little
“Yes he’s a human but he’s not like the others”, Bec said and the baby seemed to understand. It then hopped onto your back and made a gurgling sound, rubbing its head against you.You continued to move the Marker through the facility. You then arrived at some bridges and pressed the button to raise them before moving the Marker through, back to the pedestal Leah told you about. Eventually you reached the Marker pedestal. Just then you noticed a mass of flailing tentacles.
“Those belong to the mighty Hive Mind. Go on, put the Marker back. Calm them down”, Bec said and you moved the loader close to the pedestal, watching at the Marker was placed back where it belonged. Just then a bright light flashed, causing the lot of you to cover your eyes.

“Alright what now?”, you asked Natalie. She beckoned you over somewhere and you followed her. Leah and Bec followed behind. The five of you soon arrived near the shuttle. Just then a massive tentacle appeared and surrounded you.
