I hopped out my car with my duffle bag as I pulled up to my grandmothers house
I knocked on the door holding tightly to my bag you never know who's watching
The door opened and it was my grandmother
"Hey baby what you doing over here so late?" She said smiling unlocking her screen door
"Just came to see K.C" I said grabbing the door walking in
"Oh he's sleep but you can go see him" she said quietly locking the door back
I nodded and opened his squeaky room door as quiet as I could
He moved a little in his sleep smacking his mouth
I placed my duffle bag on the floor and kneeled down to his bed level
"Hey king mommas going to get right and she's going to get you and grandma and we're all going to go to an island and have the best life's" I whispered looking down at him
"I know you don't have a father but I promise I'll find you a father figure when the time is right I've been looking for him" I said sighing
"I promise to come and take you to the park one of these days and we can have fun and play" I laughed a little
