I was a little girl
Head filled with curls
Mind stuck in a surreal world
Then I became a nerd
Eyes focused on books
Writing diaries trying to see a new look
Reality forcing me to bite my tongue
So no one could hear my song
And I let myself lose hope
Finally an angel came to rescue me
With her magical rope....
She told me to just have a little faith
That soon enough I will be safe
There will be no pain
No wrong lanes
She said no longer to be an outcast
For, at last..
My eyes will close and only light will be seen
As I realise that I'm in a world that made everyone keen.
