Sunflower I

Sunflower I

gleaming smiles
vibrant laughter

chasing and clashing
like high ocean waves
that rise into a crescendo
into an ethereal sun

that tugs gently at my solitude
urging it to bask under their glow
its pulsing warm light
beckons me to come over

Yet
i am not a sunflower,
i am not a sunflower.
