"Sarah, have you grabbed those files for David yet? He sent an email asking for them" I ask my PA while looking through my hundreds of never-ending emails

"Sarah, have you grabbed those files for David yet? He sent an email asking for them" I ask my PA while looking through my hundreds of never-ending emails

"Oh I forgot, I have the folder with me Miss, however, I haven't had a chance to stop by his office yet," she says

"That's alright" I answer knowing how busy she gets

"I'll bring him the files right away" she answers

"No worries Sarah, I'm about to leave soon anyway so I'll drop it off before I go"

"Perfect!" she hands me the files and I pack up to go home after ending a long ass day at work

Stepping out of the elevator, I stop by the one and only 'David Zay's' office.

I knock on his door and hear him call out: "Come in"

"Miss. Anderson, what a surprise, how are you doing today?"

"David, nice to see you again. I hope you're doing well. Here are the files, it's been busy upstairs and haven't had a chance to bring it down" I say laying down the folders on his desk

"That's fine, I appreciate it. So tell me, Alexandra, do you have any plans for tonight?" he asks getting out of his office chair and walking closer to me

Trying to think If I had any plans, I answer

"I'm pretty sure I'm free, why may I ask?"

"Well I was wondering if you would take up my dinner offer we discussed yesterday?" he asks

"Oh, that would be lovely" I answered, why the hell not :)

"It's settled then, let's meet at Chanson D'Amour tonight at 7 pm?" he asks

Oo a fancy restaurant I see...

"Sounds great to me! I'll see you then"  I say with a smile

I leave his office wondering what will happen tonight, I mean it will be great to catch up but I haven't really gone out for a fancy dinner with anyone in a really long time. He also seems like a nice guy, which is why Ace probably trusted him so much to leave him in charge of his company.

Stepping out of the building, I see the all-to-familiar face waiting with his shades on

"Look at you looking all-to-cool," I say with a giggle

"I dress to impress" he answers opening the car door for me

"How were your lonely hours without me Liam?" I say entering the car

He opens his door and enters the driver's seat. Turning on the car, he begins to drive

"Well, I must say it was quite lonely and boring having no one to talk to" he smiles jokingly looking through the rear mirror at me
