Chapter 1

A Student was rushing through the town of kuoh, the student quickly looked down on his watch '7:55' after shouting some words that nobody would be proud of , he kept rushing and he reached the school just in time.

"Thank God" he muttered.

"Mr. L/N, class has already started I suggest you rush." Said the Student Council President.

"Oh. President Shitori! Will do!" Exclaimed the Student.

He ran towards his class room, running past a particular individual, The 'Queen' of the school, Rias Gremory, her blue eyes eyeing the student, She straightened her long, red hair before speaking.

"Akeno" Rias said to her assistant, "Who was that?"

"I believe that was Y/N L/N," Akeno Replied "I believe he is the same year as us."

"Y/N L/N" Rias said to herself.

After School, Y/N decided to hang around for a bit, reading a book under a tree...

As Y/N was reading, he heard footsteps.

"You mind if I join you?"

Y/N looked to the source of the voice.

"No. Not at all." Y/N replied

Rias sat beside him.

"So, What are you reading?" She asked

"Oh, The Portrait of Dorian Grey." He Replied while his eyes are still on the book.

"A classic, most people nowadays don't even read those." She replied

"I'm not most people" He said.

For a few minutes it was silent.

"What do you think?" Rias asked

"About what?" Y/N replied

"Immortality." She said

"Personally, I think it's a curse." He replied.

"Oh, is that so?" She replied "Why do you-"

Then An alarm went off, It was from Y/N's phone.

"Oh shit, I'm gonna be screwed." He said before taking his things and running off.

Rias looked to him and smiled, Why?

She went back to the ORC club room.

"I don't get it akeno." Rias said pacing back and forth. "I smiled, Involuntarily!"

"Peculiar Indeed." Akeno Replied "Can you tell me what he looks like?"

"He, has black hair, about a 6 footer, and" She paused " Dreamy black eyes."

"Then Rias, you are in love." Said Akeno

Rias stopped and faced akeno, red faced.

"Me?! In Love?!" Rias shouted "I think stress from school is getting to our heads, I think we should just go home."

"Okay, You're the boss." Said akeno

Once akeno left, Rias let out a sigh of relief.

"I just wanted to find out, if he was worthy of becoming a pawn."

In this case Rias went looking for copper and instead found Gold.

The next day, Y/N was at the same spot.

"So what you were going to say." Rias said .

Y/N looked up to see Rias, "About what?" He asked

"Yesterday." She said

For a second Y/N was dumbstruck.
Then he realised.

"Immortality? Why are you so curious about me, Miss Gremory?" Asked Y/N

"Nothing, I just find you peculiar." Said Rias

"So, a weirdo? A word of advice Rias, if you plan to date me, I would highly suggest to please reconsider. And to answer your question from yesterday, Immortality in my opinion is a curse because, it only brings nothing but pain, Where you will remain in a state of undying and eternal youth, while you stand on the sidelines, watching everyone you love die, and being powerless to stop it." He said before immediately leaving
