I am electrician by day for the CTA - a material slave I suppose - and by night I write about horrible angels and wonderful monsters and terrifying metaphors beneath the context of reality and whatever else I sit and contemplate about or imagine...

I am not an adherent to the selfish gene theory, nor am I totally supportive of Ayn Rand’s elitist Objectivism, but I do believe that we each should struggle to separate ourselves from the convenience of being catalogued into emergent groups. Yes, evolution calls for us to gather and commune for the sake of survival, but there are definitely intangibles, which cater to each soul independent of the group and should be nutured and celebrated instead of ostracized: the pursuit of happiness, the meaning of love, the search for God, creative expression, and peace of mind potentially differs from individual to individual.

Nobody got anywhere in the world by simply being content.
- Louis L'Amour

Mediocrity knows nothing higher than itself; but talent instantly recognizes genius.

On story reviews: I am definitely open to critiquing your story unless it falls into the erotic or the paranormal romance genres. I find that the banal subject matter tends to give me a bad case of indigestion. Sorry, but if it reads like a WB network serialized drama, whether supernatural or otherwise, I haven't the stomach for it.

Good luck and much skill in all of your endeavors...
