Because it's what I write.  

I love stories that have more than one element, is detailed, has believable characters, yummy detailed taste-bud swelling food (in real life, so of course they'd appear in my stories)...

Fast paced action reminds me of all my years of watching action movies...

*  Jackie Chan and Jet Li (Ninja stuff)...
*  The Matrix, Aeon Flux, Ultra Violet...

They excite me so much and adding them to my stories is so fun.  I just can't even...

Also:
*  Romantic comedies where the characters are a mess, but compliment each other well...
*SciFi (futuristic gadgety stuff)...  

Supernatural/Paranormal stuff:
*  Witches...
*  Ghosts
*  Magic in general and non-human creatures...  

Even though I also write Crack stuff, I love fiction treated real or Ex:  Magic Realism, I like to keep it all in a "this could happen" scope.

You can expect these and more in current and future stories ;)
