If you think Katarina will finish growing as a character after Crystalized, then you’re wrong.
Dragons Rising will give her another opportunity to grow and learn from old and new friends after the Merge. It will give her the reason to learn how to accept her new normal instead of trying to fix everything and return things back to normal prior to the second series. It’s basically a lesson of acceptance and adapting.

I am planning to release a chapter at some point, showing all my art and concept art, maybe after finishing the Crystalized arc. HOWEVER, it won't show art and concept art for Dragons Rising, because I want to keep it a surprise for Book 3
Katarina and Lloyd don't get sick easily nor as often as their friends do. Katarina's immortality strengthened her immune system, and Lloyd's Oni and Dragon ancestry fights back against any diseases and illnesses.
But when they get sick, they get SICK.
There are few times their immune systems get weakened, allowing them to get sick for a few days. Lloyd once got sick for two whole weeks because of a sore throat and a cough, and Katarina got sick for a whole week due to a stomach bug.
Movie Katarina will definitely have a spunky attitude who gets into school fights twice or three times a week. She's adopted by Koko (who we can all agree is 100% better mom than Misako) after living with Lord Garmadon as his General #1 since she was five, and is Lloyd's cool sister and won't hesitate to literally kill anyone for him or her friends. Also, she has a dark side. Ooo
