✨It's launch day for "Submitting to the Mafia King" today✨
          
          But before we get to that (it should launch around 1pm ET time), I owe you an explanation for my disappearance in the past months.

          As many of you know from my previous updates, I reached burnout point in my professional and personal life in August last year, and I've been working on recovering from it ever since. 
          
          To say it's been easy would be a lie. Comparing it to a rollercoaster with its ups and downs would be a lot more accurate because you move forward just to end up going back again. 
          
          In the past months, I've been focusing on my writing obligations for my Wattpad Originals serial, Submitting to the Mafia King, and trying to figure myself out and what I want to do in life. 
          
          This was when I decided to self-publish this autumn, starting with the Stronger Together series and, in particular, Stronger as One. Riley, Aiden, and Rafe's story was the first book I ever wrote (:D if that's not evident from the cringe-worthy first draft on Wattpad. You all have all my love and gratitude for getting through it and loving the story despite that), and it's fitting to be the first book I'll publish. 
          
          Then, in February, my world got turned upside down again: my dad was unexpectedly diagnosed with a brain tumour. Two weeks later, we discovered that it's not only cancerous but it's the most aggressive type with the worst prognosis.
          
          Sharing this come across as oversharing, but his diagnosis made me realise I want to pursue my author plans while he is still with us. So, this is my public commitment to self-publishing SoA in autumn 2024 to hold myself accountable.

Okay, lovelies, this is an unplanned announcement :D
          
          First of all, I am alive...I think. Just about.  
          
          I was (and still am) planning to give you a better update on this soon, but the Season List release for Submitting to the Mafia King (Sinful Fantasies series) caught me by surprise (it's not done by me, I promise. I am not going crazy :D ).
          
          So, let me start with that and will come back with more info on why I've been gone and what I'm up to soon enough (my newsletter subscribers will get it first, so if you want news earlier, just subscribe via https://www.inaramosauthor.com/newsletter ). 
          
          Submitting to the Mafia King (you might have heard me talk about Dark Desires before, which was the original title) is Book 1 of my mafia romance series, which is part of the Wattpad Originals programme. That means that it will kick off with 15 chapters on launch day (16 May) and then weekly updates after (and those will be done by Wattpad, so don't worry; they will be more timely than my usual approach to weekly updates).  
          
          On launch, the first 5 chapters will be free, and the rest can be opened with coins that you can either purchase or win. Every week a new chapter will become free as the latest chapter drops (i.e. the latest 10 chapters will always require coins). So there are options for those who prefer to wait and read for free, and those who wish to binge all the chapters that will be up at that point.

Your story has been stolen! I came across a book called “let the Lycans fall for me” by aria lane on MoboReader. Riley’s name is Alex in the book but otherwise it is word for word with your book stronger as one. I knew the book sounded familiar so I checked out SAO again and I thought I’d let you know so you can get that book taken down! You have to pay for the chapters after chapter 5 so someone is making a profit off of you work!
