          'How to forgive a cheater' has made it to the Open Novella Contest 2024 shortlist. Thank you all for the awesome support!❤️
          
          That's the main message of this post, but for those willing to read all my blablas (not many, I know)...
          
          That's awesome! I mean... When I started writing it, I just hoped I would be able to finish. Then I finished and I started hoping to make it to the longlist. So when they announced the longlist and my name was in there, I thought "yes! I made it! I can now die in peace".
          
          And today, I arrived home, there was a power outage, my internet was bad as hell (it took me 3 attempts to finally open the app). And the first thing I noticed was a comment left by someone congratulating me. I didn't get it straight, until my brain finally processed the ONC cover and the fact that it was around the time to announce shortlisters.
          
          And I made it! In the middle of many other amazing writers and their amazing stories, mine was SHORTLISTED!!!
          
          How to forgive a cheater received more recognition than I expected, coming from the ONC committee, but also from readers. In around four months, the story reached more than 25K reads! And lately, my daily dose of sunshine is opening the notification page and seeing votes and comments. It simply lights up my mood.
          
          Thank you all for reading, for supporting my work. I now have the obligation to do a better job next time, in order to satisfy you guys.

Hello dear wattpadians! I hope you're fine!
          And for my Muslim friends, Eid Mubarak!
          
          That being said, this is just an announcement to thank you all for your support. You're all amazing people, and even though I'm not a very engaging writer, I sincerely appreciate your support.
          
          Today, How to forgive a cheater reached 1k reads, after approximately 2 months. I know it's not that much when some people get millions of reads in that time, but to me it is ENORMOUS!
          
          When I started that story, I didn't think I'd go that far. Sure, one day it would reach the thousands of reads, yet I was not expecting that before years. But here I am.
          
          During these two months I reached the hundreds of followers. The story received an Ambassador pic's badge for the ONC, and now I reach the thousands of reads. I feel like I'm growing as a writer. And even though I may probably not become a famous author, I'm happy to know that some people enjoy my work.
          
          Again thank you all for your support, and let's look forward to new milestone and new stories.
