Am I the only one who gets extremely pissed when my so-called friend at my school's art class goes,
"Can you draw that for me?"
like no.
I can explain how to do that (we were shading glass objects), but istg she was constantly telling me to draw the whole thing for her.
This was the third time.
The first time, we were just sketching rando self-portraits and I decided to go realistic. It was due on Friday, and she saw how I did it. She asked me if I could draw a more cartoonish version of her and I was like 'sure', cuz the teacher was in the process of collecting the papers, and I can draw cartoons pretty fast. It was fine.
The second time, it was basically 6 different mini-compositions for the elements of art (line, shape, value, etc). This was for marks and all. I finished mine within an hour, cuz I didn't think too much. Apparently, she liked it so much, she asked me to draw base sketches for hers and give her ideas and, basically, do most of the shits. I was a little irritated, but I only did a little.
She almost made the shading thing the 4th time, cuz we were writing art critiques and all, and she wanted to read mine to get ideas for hers. Told her I never started it and that English wasn't my first language so she couldn't count on me. Thank god she bought it. (English is prob my first or second tho-)
But ong, so far, her marks weren't even hers. I need to stop associating with ppl like this fr.
Like, it acc pisses me off, cuz I have shit to finish too. I'm in her fucking class. Least she could do was understand that.
She fucking stabbed her 2B pencil in my hand like several times so it enters my grip (it wasn't sharpened at least). I get she's not confident, neither am I, but she shouldn't force me to do her art work for her, at least not morally. My hands fucking burned from sanitizer after class was over. I'm acc so mad.
And now we have a still-life project coming up on Monday, and she sits beside me, and the teacher is strict about seating. I don't know what do acc do cuz if I refuse her, she'll just force me into doing it. Like no.
Y'all prob think I should tell, but if I do, then I get a whole bunch of ppl against me. I was able to survive shit like that in middle school, but in highschool, I wanna avoid that.
I would fight (physically) but I'd obviously get in trouble. I'd get kicked from the school I'm at, and I'd like to stay.
I just wanna do my own art. I don't mind helping, but I ain't playing slave for a fake to get good marks. Not a chance.
Idk what to do atp. I just wanna enjoy art class. T~T
