          i hope everyone is doing well. i’m just here to post a quick update. i’m currently in the tail end of term, so it’s pretty busy assessment-wise. i know haven’t been properly active (writing-wise) since last year, and unfortunately for the foreseeable future i don’t think that will change. i still have MIDNIGHTS updates to publish — up to 17 chapters total, if anyone is interested — and will aim to finish the NOW YOU SEE ME chapter i’ve about half-way finished. however, everything else barring maybe (?) UNSPUN is on hold indefinitely.
          
          i’ve still got two years left on my marketing degree, but my creative writing degree is starting to wrap up as far as the major goes. i’ve been talking to my professors / convenors / et cetera and i’m really wanting to focus now on producing original poetry and fiction for publication. there are also longform projects i’ve been conceptualising for a while now, that i’d like to pursue. i of course also have an actual job, and am currently looking into internships that i can undertake while i’m still at university to get industry experience.
          
          so i will probably be stepping away from writing fan fiction for a while. i’ve made an alt account, @antagonies, to post original stories if i feel like it — not the stuff i’m working on for submission, but my fun side projects, i guess. i know i don’t talk a lot about my processes here or my goals, but i *do* want to be a published author someday. i didn’t really think it was possible until i started submitting work for my classes and received positive feedback on them, and now it’s something that i *know* i want. i can be very self-deprecating, so i appreciate everyone’s support. past, present, and hopefully future. [ 1/2 ]
