When I was in 5th grade, I won a writing contest and got to meet a published author. For a long time after that, I was convinced I'd be a writer one day.

But then life happened, and I ended up with a psychology degree and living in a small town with my husband and two little boys.

When our youngest son was diagnosed with cancer, we packed up and moved into a hospital room. Each day I wrote online so our friends and family would know what was going on with our son's health. The more I wrote, the more I remembered how much I loved to write.

So, as my son started to feel better, I kept writing. Now he's completely recovered, thank God!  And I'm still writing.

Fun facts about me:

I love to go camping with my family, play fetch with my cat, eat dark chocolate, drink black coffee, read, and binge watch Neflix. I basically can't get enough of story in whatever form I can get it.

What I believe:

I'm Christian, but that can mean different things to different people. So here's a nice, quick summary of what I believe:

I believe in God the Father Almighty Creator of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life of the world to come.
