Editor and Proofreader

Hi I am an editor and proofreader with over 12 years' experience. I specialize in fiction and creative nonfiction. I have worked on over 350 books, including as a proofreader for the Nobel-laureate Mo Yan's book, Pow! 

I am a member of the Society of Editing (ACES), and the Editors Freelancer's Association (EFA). My clients include global publishers, university presses, indie publishers, and independent authors. 

I have also written textbooks for schools in India (published by Macmillan Education) and a self-help book (published by Rupa Publications) and taught editing at the Seagull School of Publishing.

Stories keep me going and that's the reason I love what I do. When I'm not editing or proofreading, I dabble in digital collages. (A skill I discovered during the pandemic). My first art exhibition was in New York in May 2021.
