If you're wondering why and how my attitude changed towards my assistant. Well it's simple one might think that it's because of Pick scolding me whenever we're together well a little bit of that is true
But mainly it's because of kao himself how can I hate him or be mad at him when he's so innocent starting from the revenge honestly I get why he did it I mean I was an ass for assuming things and I went back on my own words
Not only that but he's usually genuinely concerned about me like the day I got absolutely no sleep because of my mother's PR team along with my phone getting blown up with media outlets reaching out to know more about my and Sarah's relationship his face was so concerned for me and it was all so genuine
Something I really haven't seen for a little while now not only that in the past few week I'd say he's also gotten much more comfortable with me too
Oh and not to mention what he did today .. this director has never liked me during script readings or official meetings at the office he's super sweet .. I'd supposed that's because there are cameras around but as soon as we start filming man does he get annoying .. I've just learnt to keep my head down and keep doing the scenes as nicely as I can throughout all the takes he does
*Knock~ knock*
"Come in"
I'm still in my trailer getting my make-up off it's not like I have someone waiting for me back home so I usually get the heavy make-up off before heading home
"You done changing ?" Kao asked and i nodded
He started to arrange my clothes neatly onto a hanger and hooking them up making it easier for the design department
"You hungry ?" I asked and he shook his head while simultaneously his stomach growled making me laugh
"Maybe a little bit" he chuckled
"Let's grab something to eat before heading home " I smiled and he nodded
"I'll go hand your clothes over"
"You don't have to do that kao "
"I want to it's already late and they still have to arrange and steam up all the cloths for tomorrow's shoot so isn't it better if we just help them out a little " kao shrugged and I smiled
"You can't help everyone kao "
"Why should that stop me from helping the ones I can " he smiled and shrugged before heading out
See how can anyone be remotely mad or annoyed at him

"Order whatever you like it's on me" I said as we sat down at a ramen place near by his apartment to which he just nodded as he skimmed through the menu
"I'll drop you home after " I added
"Ooi you don't have to do that I'll drop you home like I usually d~"
"Ai kao you like extra work ? We're near your place so I'll just drop you off infact from now on let's do this you don't have to drop me off when it's this late " I said and he pouted
"But ~"
"Kao you already get up before I do and come to my place to cook and tidy up its already too much considering how much more we have to do now ... Either we do this or "
"Or ?"
"Or you move in with me " I smiled and he choked on his water making laugh
"I see you prefer ther former then do as I say and stop complaining "
"This nice version of you still scares me not gonna lie " kao said
I was about to curse him out when a lady stopped by our table asking for our order so I simply shut up
Soon our food arrived as we both dug in
"Kao" I called out and he hummed as he chomped down his food
He looked up when I didn't continue
"What happened ?" He asked
"Don't pick fights with the director or anyone on set from now on just ignore what they're doing and move on" I said and he put his chopsticks down
"But isn't it unfair how he treats you ? So what you come from money he should focus on your skills " he said angrily and I hummed
"It is how it is kao nothing can be done just mentain good relations with them if you ever want to be a director " I said and he scoffed
"I'm good I don't need to befriend a jackass like him"
"Ai'kao in this industry it's important to have all the connections you can trust me it'll be good for you "
"Look if kissing up to a jackass who doesn't care about skills and is so rude to people then I'm good I don't need it I'm sure I'll come across others who are genuinely good people "
"Kao ~"
"Why are you so defencive ? Huh ? Do you like him or something ? Does him being rude and mean to you turn you on *gasp* are you into some sadistic kinks or something ?" Kao suddenly concluded making me almost want to burst out laughing but I contained myself
"What the hell are you on about kao ? Where did that come from ?" I asked and he shrugged
"I'm just saying don't ask me to not stand up for what is wrong plus it's not just about you pete that man is super mean to a lot of the staff members saying that he has a horrendous temper not only that he's rather sexist and also makes female staff uncomfortable "
"He does ?" I asked and kao nodded along
"Look I know I don't have power in the company but if I can make others comfortable enough to stand up against him then that's also good enough for me " he shrugged
"Ai'kao if you do that then this entire project will go down do you have any clue how much time and effort people have put into this ?and I'm not even going to the financial side of things " I said and kao hummed
"So what should I do !" He asked
"For now kao as much as you don't like it .. stay out of it it's not worth it you may give some people a voice but aslo take away a source of income from many " I said and he pouted
"I don't like it one bit "
"Ah How about this once this is all over I'll personally file a complaint against him to the company " I said and his face lit up before it again went down
"But thats a long while why should people suffer ?" He said and i hummed
He has a point
"Hm.. maybe I can talk to phi Godji amd see if there's any way to help out without completely ruining the production" I said scratching my chin
"Really ? " He asked and i hummed
"That'll be great ! Let me know if you need me to do anything " he said and i nodded
"Now eat it's getting late " I said
"Hm Maybe I could get used to the nice version of you " he said and i chuckled
"Shut up " I laughed
I worry about you Kao .
You want to help people but just don't get hurt in the process

going for but who am I to make a shorter story
But this part made the most sense to me so here we are
