Yerein decided that she would give way.This was the second time where she needed to give up the fight because she didn't want to fight the opponent but she was clueless on what fight she was talking about
She felt the connection of hearts but she didn't want to confirm that what she felt was jealousy
Lately she noticed that her imaan(faith) was slowly deteriorating maybe because she was always talking to the opposite gender,she felt like a sinner now not to mention the attraction she felt every time she saw Kamzan, but she was innocent to her new form,all those feelings were new to her and she couldn't even recognize the face of romantic love
She decided to support her best friend and his captain's growing romance and she hoped after this chaos Kamzan would make their relationship halal
The bed was still in the original position and it was raining hard,since she couldn't carry it she just decided to sleep on the floor.
The captain was inside his quarter while observing the raging wind outside.He was busy looking at it when he remembered that he didn't ask why she needed to change the position of the bed,instead of asking her,he annoyed her.
It was 11:00 pm when he decided to peek at his special prisoner.
The first thing he looked at was her bed,she was not there,he opened the door and looked around and there she was sleeping in the corner.
He wanted to carry her to the bed but it was haram to touch her.And he was sure that the woman would kill him if he did that.
His decision was that he woke her up by knocking on the table.
"What the..?" Yerein first two words after he retrieved her soul from the dreamworld.
"It's raining"was his first line when he triumphed on waking her up.
"I know"Yerein cold reply could beat the cold wind blowing outside
"You know?" He was irritated immediately with her absentminded reply.
"I know I can hear it"Yerein in witch's form was worse than maleficent.She was like a plain pancake with no butter,yogurt and sugar toppings.
"I said it's rai-ning" the captain reiterated the obvious occurence again.
"I said I know" Yerein also reiterated how she was angry because she was deprived of good night sleep.
"You know time like this,I can't avoid not to wonder on why on universe,that you and the attorney became best friends"
"What?"she heard it the first time but she was still processing it.
"I mean if both of you will become hair,attorney is the braided one and you are the disheveled one with matching hanging flies" for captain it was just a joke.He thought that she was in her witch mode because he disturbed her peaceful sleep but for Yerein it was deeper than that.
"Me and my best friend are two different individuals"
"Exactly,she was an attorney and you are a ter--." Captain Kamzan realized that he went overboard.No he had no bad intention on mentioning this word.He knew from his heart that this was not true.
But it's too late,her eyes were slowly losing their sparks.It was slowly turning into an empty one.
There were two things that she absorbed tonight.The unending comparison between her and her best friend and her unending quest to prove that she was not a terrorist.
A long silence.The woman was hurt while the man was guilty. The loud thunder made the captain wake up from his hidden guilt.
"Just sleep on the bed"he just said it directly.It was cold outside and she was sleeping on the floor.Sometimes he wondered why there were moments she acted like a little girl who needed her papa.
"Yerein"his last warning.
He spoke again because the woman was just looking straight to the iron bar, as if she was transformed into a statue.
"Yerein it's late in the night and we are the only souls fighting here" he kept on talking and finally Yerein decided to release her frustration.
"Everything was great until you disturb this night"
"Just go to the bed"
"No."She was stubborn,she didn't want to sleep on the bed because it's wet.She didn't want to tell him because he would not care.
"Don't wait for me to drag you here" if in the outside the thunder and the wind were dancing.Inside the highest storey building there were two stubborn beings fighting.
"Don't touch me" Yerein immediately warned him.
"Then go to the bed"the girl was really testing his patience.She didn't create any small movements.
"Don't blame me then"that's what he said before he immediately walked to Yerein, he was willing to challenge the haram because the so-called Muslimah was testing his faith.
He just scared her,he had no plan to touch her but his method made her change her adamant mind.
"Okay,okay I will go there"she stood up and the devil captain won.
"You forgot your pillow princess"he was happy for his success,he even called her princess
"Better to call me terrorist than that scary name" it was not scary but it was addicting.It was beautiful but she knew that she didn't deserve to be called princess.She never dressed like one,acted like one and never looked like one.
Captain Kamzan ignored her last statement while observing her getting the pillow.She thought after she sat on the bed,he would leave her alone but instead he sat on it too,but far enough to make her at peace.
"Why did yo--"while sitting on it,his left hand accidently touched the space of the bed and he was shocked because it was wet.
"Did you p..."his word was being cut again when another drop of water fell on to his head.
"It's leaking"he looked at the roof and then Yerein. Yerein just looked away.She wanted to answer him "I told you so" but she didn't want to waste her energy,everything on her was sleepy.
"Would it kill you to tell me?" He asked with a serious tone this time.He hated it when she was uncomfortable and suffering and she didn't ask him to help her.
Yerein didn't answer but she was forced to sit on the interrogator chair for a while because the captain changed the position of her bed.
She was observing the captain while arranging her bed. His handsome features and gorgeous body movements were being followed by her two big beautiful eyes.
After Kamzan arranged her bed, Yerein asked the question which was hanging in her mind.
"What if the two people you love fall for each other?"
The captain caught off guard with the question but was still able to maintain his stoic face.
"It would be a great thing....but"
"But?"Yerein asked with curiosity
"If you both love them and they are woman and man;means you are in love with the man"
"I don't understand"
"You will sacrifice that love,for them to be happy"
Yerein paused for a moment.His answer was deep and he didn't want to conclude that the question was for him
"But don't worry the man you love is not in love with the woman you love" but with confusion he closed the windy night with his answer that could bring peace to the ambivalent heart
Although the bad weather was still happening outside,the hearts of the two stubborn souls finally ceased from their childish war.
