HER BOOK OF POETRIES

THIS IS REALITY

I've always been drawn into books.
People told me it's seen on my looks.
Just sweaters, messy bun, and eyeglasses too,
If you didn't know, now you have a clue.

Those books filled with mysteries and thrills,
Those made me skip my meals.
A princess saved by his Prince in a lost tower,
And the prince that sings a song and gives you flowers.

Those books with guys who fights for love,
And girls who asked for freedom from the above.
The guys that wore cloaks and specs,
Those who makes you ask, "What's next?"

I've read books with people who solve mysteries,
And books filled with sass and histories.
It always feels right and it makes me happy,
It's something I would never change to see.

I always get lost in a book and they know it too.
I hear words that shouldn't be and see things I want to do.
But those only exist in a world I will never be.
Somewhere far from here. And right now, this is reality.
