These are my headcanons for Sally Face characters, mostly Travis, so if you see these play out in the oneshots, don't be shocked.
Travis
Honestly, I relate to Travis a scary amount so some of these are things that happen to me
☆ Travis' hair is brown and it is so dead from constantly bleaching it to look like his Father's that he can't brush it with a brush because it will fall out
☆ Travis hurts himself because he thinks that if he can hurt himself more and give himself more scars than his father does that it won't hurt as much, it doesn't work
☆ Travis doesn't really know what most food tastes like because his father won't feed him so he can't handle eating and it led to an eating disorder
☆ Travis has never truly been happy so when he does feel happy, he freaks out, shaking his head and bouncing and not breathing (I do that)
☆ Travis likes to wear skirts and dresses but would NEVER admit it for fear of death (Crossdressing Travis gives life)
☆ Travis and Larry used to be best friends until Travis pulled away when his mom died and his dad got even more violent
☆ Travis has very high anxiety and developed selective mutism because no one wanted to listen (I have that)
☆ takes a lot of meds that he gets from a doctor that knows his situation and keeps it quiet
☆ Travis loves darker music because he can relate and it helps him feel better
☆ Travis started listening to Sanity Falls because he heard Sal mention it once in the hallway
☆ the first time Travis saw Sal's face he said 'beautiful' out loud without realizing it and Sal heard it
☆ Travis keeps a picture of Sal in his Bible because it's something his dad never touches and he needs something better to worship
☆ Travis bullies Sal but is willing to fight anyone else who tries it
Sally Face
☆ has ADHD and takes meds for it
☆ Sal asks his dad to brush out his tangles from his mask strap because he wants an excuse to spend time with him
Larry
☆ Larry hates Travis because they were best friends and he thinks Travis stopped being friends with him because he thought he was better than him.
Ash
☆ Ash became friends with Travis at some point because he helped her through a panic attack she was alone for
Salvis
☆ Gizmo likes Travis more and Sal gets jealous of Gizmo for getting more of Travis' attention. Travis likes to tease him for it.
