Srija : Lilyy..Moleyy.. niṅṅaḷ eppēāḷ tiriccu varuṁ?

(When are you coming back?)

Lily : Njan varilla

( I will not come )

Srija sighed

Srija : Unaku apdi enna roshomo.. Unga appa dha apdi irukaru naa un buthi enga pochu.. Unga rendu peru ego va sevuthula mutikanum

Lily quirked her eyebrows before thinning her lips

Lily : Unna yaaru andha aala kalyanam panika sonna.. Un mela dha faultuh

Lily huffed making Srija sigh

Srija : Unna katika poravanuku romba kashtam d

Lily : Avlo feeling naa enna ponnu paaka varravangaluku precautionery notice kuduthutu ponnu paaka okay vaa nu kelu.. Enaku vela iruku.. Byee

Srija squealed on the already hung up call as she stared at her phone screen before cursing the father and daughter who fought after Lily decided to persue MBA and her father Joseph Simply. Denied. Stating she was growing old to get married

But what infuriated Lily was his words

Joseph : Pazutha palatha odaney vitha dha peru.. Azhugi poradhukulla kuduthu vidradhu pazhakaaran porupu dhana

Lily : Apo enna oru pathu rooba pazhama paakreengala ?

And that was all it required for their ego to pump out into a hot lava carnival which flooded up Srija's head

Lily : Naa pazhamavey irundhutu poren.. Aanaa indha pazhatha yaarum thedi varanum nu avasiyam illa.. Yen na indha pazham marama valarndhu ellarukum nezhal kuduthu thannee panjam illama mazhailayum nilathadi neerlayum ninnu nezhachu kadavul punniyathula seriyanavan kaiku seriyana nerathuku poyi serum .. Adhuku oru pazham vikravan theva illa.. Naalaiku andha pazham vikravanuku dha andha pazhathoda theva varum

Lily yelled simultaneously packing her suitcase and pulled it out before looking at her mother informing

Lily : Sanju ava flat ku opposite la oru single bhk flat iruku sonna.. Already book pani vechurndhen.. Ennoda business plans ku theva padum nu

Lily looked at Joseph through the corner of her eyes

Lily : Aanaa adhuku ipo vera vela vandhurchu.. Odamba paathuko maa.. Naa kelamburen

And that was the last time Srija got to see her only daughter

Lakshman who was walking around with his tenth grade texbooks looked at his mother who seemed lost and pressed her shoulder

Srija raised her eyes to look at her little boy who nodded a ' No ' before pressing her shoulder even more firmly and embracing her sharing his own feelings of not having his annoying sister

🌸

Lily pushed her head back on the couch blinking her misty eyes munching on the pringles trying hard to control her emotions

It had been six months since she even had a proper conversation with her mother

The girl who always narrates her every boring and bright day to her mother forced herself to even speak out a few words asking about her health

Though she sent her mother daily letters reporting all that she does everyday it hurt her not to annoy her mother, pull her mother for a few romantic steps, tease her when she humms in her beautiful voice and appreciate her with sloppy kisses for every meal
