Chapter 4

"No Ami, I have told you guys already that I'm not gonna ruin any girls life" Haris shouted at his Mother

"Beta you are not ruining any life, you guys will be happy ,really happy together trust me, and besides the girl have already agreed beta" Asma said calmingly in order to make Haris understand

"Does She know about my confidence ?" Haris asked his mother and Asma just looked down

"I don't know" she replied

"Huh how do you not know?do you think its a game? How will she react when she gets to know about me?" Haris asked again

"Beta everything will fall in its place trust me, nothing wrong will happen." Asma soothingly said

Haris was again and Again denying and because of that Asma told her about Mariam's state and how Iftikhar and his family treats her

"Please beta you aren't just doing it for yourself but her too" Asma pleaded

"Okay ami, I'm agreeing just because you are saying again and again but know that i won't be able to give her any happiness" Haris said defeatedly

"No beta you are going to be a better future for her,and you guys will live a happy life i have faith in Allah bache" Asma said

"Whatever Ami" Haris replied not interested in any of these talks

"We are going to fiz date today Haris" i hope you won't mind" Asma said

"I don't care Ami do whatever you want" Haris replied

Asma's heart ached looking at his son who was once joyfull and who used to be happy always

But surely this time shall pass too she had full faith in Allah she know her lord won't disappoint her

At Iftikhar's House....

Ahmed and Asma arrived 1 hour ago they bought gifts for everyone and had dinner now they are talking in the living room with Mariam sitting between Asma and Naeema

Naeema and Iftikhar was showing fake love to Mariam which shocked and surprised her

Ahmed and Iftikhar talked about business and ujala was sitting beside Affan both getting bored

Mariam thought Haris will also come and when she didn't see him she felt disappointed but she shooked that thought off her head

"So....Shall we come to the topic we are here for?" Ahmed said and everyone nodded except Mariam

"Iftikhar and Naeema Bhabhi as you guys have said yes to My Haris we would like them to get married quickly if you don't have any problem in it"Ahmed said and looked at Asma who nodded

"Why would we have any problem Ahmed I'll be glad to let Mariam marry quickly " Iftikhar said being happy by the thought of  getting rid of Mariam

"Okay then...on friday  after 3 days we'll come for Nikkah and on Saturday we'll take Mariam with us" Ahmed finally said with a smile feeling relieved

"We don't have any problem" said iftikhar

Mariam's eyes welded tears because she know her so called parents and siblings doesn't want her and of course why would they she was just an adopted daughter not real

After talking for a little more Ahmed and Asma took their leave happily

"Haris, Haris beta congratulations we have set the date of your nikkah 3 days later on Friday" Asma said with excitement entering her son's room

"Does she know?"  Haris investigated

"It doesn't matter beta now she is your wife to be" Ahmed said from behind

"It does Baba it does, what do you think will her reaction be when she sees me like this on  a wheelchair?,what will happen to her dreams? She will be destroyed baba and i don't wanna bring destruction to her life" Haris said and Ahmed looked towards Asma

"Haris meri jan she won't get destroyed I'm sure you will be able to walk again InShaAllah  just keep faith in Allah" Asma said and looked towards Ahmed who nodded smiling

"I don't think so" Haris replied reluctantly

"Don't think about anything my child, she's your wife to be and I'm sure she'll accept you the way you are, just think about the life you both are gonna have together, stay positive beta you never know what might happen next in life" Ahmed said

"I'll try baba but you can't change the fact that I'm gonna be a burden on her" Haris sadly replied

"You won't be Haris ,you are not a burden and I'm sure Mariam will love you the way we do and she'll feel lucky to have you as her husband" Ahmed said

Haris didn't replied and just started thinking about the life which is ahead of him
