Streets secret

Chapter 4

Street ended up having nightmares all night and Hondo just could not leave him like that

The first time Hondo heard the scream he ran to street as fast as he could slamming the door open to see Street still asleep but screaming his lungs out

A nightmare Hondo knew they were painful depending on the dream

He rushed to streets side and held him as he thrashed and struggled against his hold

"Street you need to calm down and wake up"
Hondo said slightly loud but not as loud as streets screaming

"Street wake up!!" Hondo yelled out as street finally stopped and opened his eyes open wide

"There you go Street your alright" Hondo shushed him as he started to weep again as his father like boss figure held his and told him everything was alright and that he was fine and
Leo would be fine

He ended up passing out after crying

Hondo ended up tucking him into bed after he passed out and then went to bed himself only to be awoken up one hour later to Street screaming again

He again ran to street and told him everything was okay until he passed out due to exhaustion

This repeated multiple times through the night until at around three in the morning Hondo decided to sleep with Street to hopefully settle him down

So when he started to cry again he went to his
room and closed the door then went to street and told him everything was okay and that no one would hurt him nor will Leo die

After he fell asleep his he hopped into the bed with him and held him as he to started to fall asleep

After that Street didn't have any nightmares due to being comforted all night just by his boss holding him as they both slept peacefully, but it was rather awkward when they woke up

Hondo in his tired state of mind didn't think of the consequences of them both being in the same bed and him holding the young team member whom he comforted all night by morning Street woke up while being oddly warm which he never really was this warm

He slowly opened his eyes to she black it was his bosses shirt

Street shot up embarrassed and hoped out of bed but tripped while doing so but luckily a arm rapped around his waist in time before he fell

"Street Jesus kid you alright?" Hondo asked as he slowly picked up the kid and set him on the bed while Street processed all he's done in his life

"Street kid you good?" Hondo asked again

"Oh yeah sorry spaced out for a bit sorry" street said while Hondo realized that he apologizes two times

"Kid you don't have to apologize it's fine" Hondo said as he grabbed Street by the arm pull to the kitchen to start making some good breakfast
Hondo set street on the stool like he was a child kind of but Street just simply let him

"So what would you like for breakfast?" Hondo asked as he looked at Street who started to remember last night

"I wanna see Leo" street said quietly

"Let's eat first then you can go and see Leo afterwards how about that?" Hondo asked

"The fastest thing to eat then" street answered
seriously

"Toast it is then" hondo sighed as he started making food

After eating they got dressed and headed to the hospital to see Leo

Once he got there he got stoped by a nurse

"Jim Street am i correct?" The lady asked
Street nodded
She smiled and said this way

He followed without Hondo as she said only he could see him and Hondo didn't really want to see him

When Street the condition Leo was in he started crying immediately

He covered his mouth and walked over to Leo as the tears fell he then grabbed Leo's hand and fell to the ground still holding his hand as the tears fell he whimpered slightly as the sight of his dear brother in this he felt it was his fault but it wasn't

A few weeks after Leo woke up and got checked up on while Street stayed every single time

Everyday Street visited Leo with hope for him and the hope was enough as Leo soon got to go home and Street was happy he was back and everything was back to normal

Well except one thing

The team doesn't know that Leo is street's brother and more then a friend
