Why Is There An Alien Princess In My Room? (ONC 2023 - Alien Romance - Complete)

Here we go... (Author's Note)

I told myself I wouldn't do this!

I promised myself I wouldn't write two ONC novellas again.

But yet, here we are. This is my second ONC novella of 2023. Because once this story started to play out in my head, I just couldn't stop it. An alien princess had taken over my brain, demanding to have her story told.

So, I decided to tell that story. I decided to write an alien romance filled with shenanigans, slapstick, and hopefully also some romantic tension. Oh, and it has a female cat called Bobby Fischer in it (the name will be explained eventually).

Now, let's get to the story! I present to you, Vyrsa, our alien princess, who is about to go on a ride she didn't expect.

Note! Keen readers may notice that the male lead bears the same name, Tristan Conway, as a minor character in my other story Sweet Little Birds. I had kind of wanted to write a story for that character and he fit the role I needed for a male character in this story. This doesn't mean that the events of this story exist in the canon of Sweet Little Birds though, rather consider this a heightened fantasy on Tristan's part that may or may not actually happen. A few characters from what story will also appear as side characters.

For readers who haven't read that story: don't worry, this story is completely freestanding (Tristan is only really present in one chapter there, as the MC's crush from high school and later coworker at a movie theatre. Tristan goes to a university called Val Tech, studies computer engineering, and likes quiz games and chess. And that's basically all we know of him.)
