i was sitting on the couch leaning on my mom's side as she had her arm around me while we watched a movie until somebody started knocking on the door.
"i'll get it ma"
i offered just as she was about to get the door.
"you want me to pause it?"
"na it's good i'll be back"
i walked over to the front door and saw dd standing outside thru the lil hole thingy.
"happy mother's day y/n"
dd said. we both bursted out laughing.
"i ain't nobody momm"
i said between my laughs as i gave him a hug.
"ay don say dat in front of baby osama"
dd mumbled rubbing my stomach.
"stop playin n get inside"
i said moving his hand away and letting him in and he closed the door behind himself.
"what's that alla bout?"
i asked pointing at the big bouquet of flowers he had in his hands
"i got it fo my motha in law"
he was cheesing mad hard.
"aww she in the living room"
before he left to the living room, he gently grabbed a flower out of the bouquet and handed it to me. i was boutta cry frl. i gave him a hug then we both made our way to the living room
"yasmine"
dd half whispered to my mom as he slowly walked into the living room hiding the flowers behind his back.
"david! how are you mijo?"
"i'm good ma, happy mother's day"
he said revealing the flowers. her eyes widened as she took the flowers and gave him a side hug.
"aw it's got a lil card on it"
i said noticing the card attached to the flowers.
"oh yea read dat"
dd said.

she pulled him into another hug after reading the card.
"ain no way yo ass got that good handwriting"
i said looking at the card which was written in some fancy cursive.
"ye melz did that"
we laughed and all sat down finishing the movie together.
