The One

8 1 1

Her:

The sun dazzled on your cheeks,
Your face bright with your smile,
All attention, while you speak,
All admiring your style.

Him:

The breeze that brushes your face,
Strands of hair that lay astray,
Your eyes were filled with grace,
Beauty all on display

Her:

My heart thumped a beat,
My minds a mess,
An unfamiliar heat,
Feelings I suppress.

Him:

Glances at me, you'd steal,
Cheeks colored in red,
Emotions you try to conceal,
But your expression, they won't defend.

Them:

My heart realized,
He's/She's the one
From that very moment,
Our stories had begun.
