Sebastian West was an overcomer. The boy was orphaned at five years old after his parents decided they no longer wanted a kid. He suffered from severe anxiety. This made it hard for him to speak and do things many find easy, like making friends, doing what you love, raising your voice, you name it.

Fortunately, he was adopted at nine, to a loving family with an even more loving daughter of their own. Things had turned around for him as his new sister Jade West was now around and helped him out of his comfort zone. She soon introduced him to her best friend Beck and in a way played matchmaker.

Sebastian was waiting for Beck and Jade with a couple of coffees in his hand. Already having given everyone else their choice of caffeine he waited on his boyfriend and sister.

Hearing the door open behind him, he turned to see a brunette girl rush into him and hot coffee was all down the front of his sweater.

“Oh my god,” The girl gasped, panic clear on her face as she tried to help clean it off him,”I-I am so sorry,” she apologized quickly

“It’s okay,” Sebastian assured, noticing her panic and keeping a calm expression,”You can stop rubbing it,” he told her sweetly, not liking the touch

"It's almost out!" She said when he tried to push away her hands. A harsh voice halted the brunette's furious scrubbing.

"Dude, why are you rubbing on his boyfriend?” Jade yelled angrily, as Beck rushed over to the two separating them

“Sebby, you okay?” Beck asked, noticing how his boyfriend breathing was a little shaky signaling that his anxiety was getting the best of him

“Yeah,” Sebastian mumbled, looking down at the stain on his shirt,”I need a new shirt though. I have some in my locker,” he chuckled

“You prepared for this,” Beck said, an amused look on his face

“Gotta stay prepared, bebe,” Sebastian replied, pecking Becks lips and leaving the room

"I just spilled coffee on him," The girl defended, trying not to stir up trouble on her first day

“You say it like it’s not a problem,” Jade spat, glaring at the girl

“Hey, relax,” Beck stepped in, knowing how Jade can be when it came to her brother,”Sebs fine, he’s getting a new shirt now,”

“But she-”

“He just keeps shirts on stand by?” The girl asked, confused at why he’d just have one

“He likes to stay prepared,” Beck shrugged, as Jade continued to glare at her,”Come on,” he said, guiding his best friend to her chair

“OH, MY GOD, THERE'S A HUGE FIRE!” Sikowitz yelled bursting through the door and had the class rushing towards the door as Sebastain walked into the class confused at what he walked into

“Kidding. Kidding” Sikowitz called with a grin “Just wanted to get the blood pumping. Ha!” Making everyone calm down and take their seats, “Now” Sikowitz begins closing the door “let’s start. Rumps in chairs.” He walks to the small stage in the class

“He’s our teacher?” The brunette asked from the row behind them

“Yea, is that a problem,” Jade spoke to her in a distasteful tone

“Oh I-I’m sorry I didn-” the brunette stuttered

“Whatever.” Jade interrupted, clearly still annoyed about the previous incident causing Sebastian to nudge her,”I’m fine,” she sighed, though avoided his gaze
