"Well don't you look cozy" a voice came from behind olive and the daughter of hades didn't even look up knowing it was another unwanted spirit coming to bug her about something. Hopefully she doesn't have to listen to the 'please put in a good word for me with your dad' or 'tell your dad to put me somewhere happy and safe please'
"Nope, not today. Go find someone else to annoy" olive mumbled under her breath sounding sleepy while using her hand to cover her face as if that could hide her away from the ghost's presence
Now no she doesn't do this to everyone. Sometimes she takes the time and hears them out and then tries to hide from them and if you get really lucky and she means really lucky she may send a little message to her dad but that's only ever happened with one person because she felt really bad for them and only wanted her to find peace when she finally went to the underworld
"Why are we on top of a roof" the female voice asked again and olive opened her eyes glancing to the side to glance over camp half blood and shrugged before closing her eyes again "waiting for the new kid to wake up" olive mumbled under breath and she felt the spirit sit down beside her just staring not not knowing what to do
"Not everyday you die, Hm" olive glanced up at the girl who looked no older then 14 maybe 15 which made her heart go out for her as no one should have to face death so young. Not when there are so many opportunities still ahead of you that just isn't fair, not at all
"What's your name and how did you die?" Olive bluntly said with a blank expression.
Rule one of being able to see spirits when they are still between life and death. Don't get attached because the spirits are just scared and want a way out they don't actually want to be your friend
"Right to the point? Okay" she joked but when she saw the serious expression on the brunette girls face she nodded becoming more serious at least olive thought she was gonna be serious "my name is Charlotte the third and I died in war"
"Fine I'm actually Allison Dreier and I died from a robbery. I got in the way and the guys went pew-pew at me" she explained before acting it out dramatically and olive raised an eyebrow as Allison did so finding it rather amusing but also strange
Never had a spirit ever been so.. chirpy? This girl has just died a tragic death and was only seen as collateral damage to the murderer who probably felt no remorse and what does she do? Well she acts out her death as if it was her audition tape to get onto broadway and she's doing it in-front of the daughter of hades herself.
