adding onto this which i posted in the N/A chapter under balloon's design, i think those god selecters or whatever just went "eeny meeny miny mo" and selected balloon to get the power, or they thought balloon was the most mentally prepared for this (HIS ASS WAS NOT) and chose him for this big role of being the most powerful.
i also think his magic ability based off recent uses of it and his symbol it's just... all the powers fused into one? so yea :)
