"WALKER?" EVELYN ASKED THE BOY. "Hmm?" he said looking down at her. "Where you the kid that played younger Ryan Reynolds's in that one movie?"
Walker shut his eyes in embarrassment and slowly nodded. "Yeah... That's me." Evie's face lit up, "I knew you looked familiar!" Walker rubbed his forehead as his face turned red from embarrassment.
"I still remember the mac & cheese comercial you did." Evelyn said laughing. "I will run in front of a moving car, V."
Evelyn bit the inside of her cheek and smiled at the boy. Walker nudged the girl, "Are you okay? Did I do something?"
"No, no, no! It not you!"
"Then what is it?"
"Your nickname for me... My dad use to call me that when I was younger." she said fiddling with the ring on her finger. "Oh. Did you have a bad relationship with your dad?"
Evelyn debated if she should tell him about her dad. But if she was gonna be friends with him, he would find out sooner or later.
"My dad passed away when I was seven. Walkers face dropped. "Im sorry."
