"Lita, are you okay?" Bella's concerned voice echoed as she stepped into the room.

"Does it look like I'm okay!?" Lita snapped before the weight of her words settled in. "Shit, I'm sorry, Bella. That anger's not meant for you."

Bella responded with a reassuring smile, immediately joining Lita in collecting the remnants of the shredded dress. "So, what happened?"

Lita's gaze dropped, overwhelmed by sudden shame. "I...I ripped a dress my mother bought me. I'm so stupid—now I have nothing to wear to the reception, and–"

Bella intervened, pulling her into a comforting hug. "Don't worry about it. I've got a few dresses...even though they're not your style, it's the best I can offer," she said, giving Lita a sweet smile as they parted from the embrace.

"Thank you..." Lita expressed her gratitude before pulling Bella back for another hug. "Come on, you can help me pick one."

Surveying the limited selection of dresses, Lita couldn't hide her underwhelmed expression, but she remained grateful. "This is what I wore to prom," Bella mentioned, holding up a blue dress with a ruffled skirt.
