We see the view of a lush jungle being flown over showing a shadow caster by a giant winged creature as it screeched in the air and soared over the jungle at a high speed as the fog clears the way for the creature
When I was a kid laying in the hospital, arm mostly gone ad mangled, dying of blood loss, I started having dreams of flying...I was free.
The view of the forest disappears and we see a man in a wheel chair with a young man missing an arm shown by his jacket sleeve not being filled out with the limb as the young man opens his eyes and they are both stood waiting to cross the road with a massive crowd
Sooner of later though...dreams end and that's all they are...just dreams.
The road clears and the two makes cross the street with the man in he wheelchair turning his wheels to move across the street while the young man walks beside him
You can get a robotic prosthetic, if you for the money of course, works like a real arm would, no strings attached but not on you're brothers VET benefits, not in this economy. A VA check and 12 buck can barely get you a goo cup of coffee, me and Jake...we're wait listed, no spinal cord fix and no prosthetic.
The scene changes to a extremely small apartment with Jake removing his pants revealing his extremely thin legs with the tv showing a programme of bengal tigers that have been brought back from extinction
I joined military school to become a marine just to give myself a purpose in life...nowadays becoming rich and famous off education is nothing but dreams and joining the army would be the best bet to scale together cash to get me and Jake back to normal.
The young man sits on his bed that was positioned at the bottom of Jakes, he took off his jacket and looked to his right looking at the stub that was connected to his shoulder before laying back on his bed
I convinced myself I could do anything, arm or no arm and kept doing what i wanted most, to be a soldier
The scene switches to the outside of a bar with the young man standing out side before the doors open and Jake is thrown out of the doors by the bouncers and then his wheel chair is thrown on top of him as he rolls onto his back with a smile on his face
Jake: I hope you realised you just lost yourself a customer. He yelled laid on his back Candy-ass bitch. He breathed heavily before shouting if it ain't raining, we ain't training!
Troy: you can't help but get you're sorry-ass into trouble, huh? I thought you said "just a couple drinks. He said while walking up to the wheel chair and putting it upright before walking over to Jake but his distracted by two men in suits approaching them
Man 1: it doesn't look like them.
Man2: it's them.
Man1: you Troy and Jake Sully?
Jake: step off. You're ruining my good mood. He looks away
Troy: we don't want any trouble. He says as he kneels down to help Jake up into a sitting position
Man 2: it's about you're brother. Troy and Jake look at them
The scene changes to a giant crematorium as the intercom calls for the Sully brothers as they follow the two men with Troy walking beside Jake to the cremation chamber for Tom as Troy stands there staring while they open the box containing the body and shows Tom's body which just caused Troy to shed tears while Jake spoke
Jake: Jesus, Tommy. He said with a pained and broken voice while swallowing hard as Troy faced away
The strong prey on the weak...a guy with a knife took all my brother would ever become for the cash in his wallet...the concern of the men was touching
Man 1: you're brother represented significant investment. We'd like to talk to you about taking over his contract. Jake was signing some papers
Man2: and since you're genome is identical to his, you could step into his shoes, so to speak. The box holding Tom was closed and lifted before being slid into the cremation chamber
Man 1: it'd be a fresh start on a new world. You could do something important. You can make a difference.
Man 2: and the pay is good.
Man 1: very good. Troy looked at Jake worriedly, thinking he would be left alone if Jake took the offer
Tommy was the scientist, not me or Jake, I may have had the grades, but never the dedication. He was the one who wanted to get shot light-years out to space to find the answers
The cremation chamber turned on and the jets inside of it immediately lit up in flames to cremate his body
Me, I was just a lazy idiot being left on a rock while his brother go sent to some place he'd regret
Jake: and what about my brother. He said while looking into the cremation chamber as Tom's body was being burnt
Man 2: he can come, but he won't be involved with any of you're working, according to our knowledge.
Man 1: if you really want to bring him, that is.
Jake: then I think you have you're answer, he looks at Troy and gives him a nod before turning to the two men where do we sign up?
Timeskip 6 years
The scene switches again and we see Troy's eyelids moving around before his eyes shot open to a blue coloured chamber with a water droplet floating and the sound of a heartbeat monitor beeping
In cryo there's no such thing as dreams...it doesn't feel like six years, more like a sleep the night before school and an alarm for 5am
The chamber slides open and Troy floats up before he looks beside him to see Jake being spoken to by what looks to be a doctor as the doctor confirms that their there before their both unstrapped and allowed to move around as Troy and Sam move to their lockers
Up ahead, was Pandora. You grew up hearing about it, but I never figured I'd be going there, especially with my brother
The giant space station floats over the planet that looked similar to how earth used to look in the history books as the ship carrying Jake and Troy detached from the station and is then seen soaring down to the planet and breathes the atmosphere while inside of the ship Jake and Troy are sitting beside each other
Commander: let's go! Exo-packs on! Let's go, exo-packs on! Everyone puts on their breathing masks remember people, you lose that mask you're unconscious in 20 seconds, you're dead in four minutes! Let's nobody be dead today! Looks very bad on my report. The fly over a giant mining sight before they make it to what looks like a base and the giant aircraft lands
Little did we know...this wasn't going to be some science trip...we were landing into a full blown war...and we were on the side of the enemy...
