Two weeks after...
After everything happened, I was back in my apartment and I had Kevin. My dear Kevin. I was so relieved that I was back to my normal life. Collins decided to go live in the neighborhood so we could visit her once in a while. She didn't want to go back to Colton Canepa, her dad. I didn't judge her. We saw my mom's house and it was like she never left. I smelled every single thing that was hers. I took everything home, everything I can put in the spaceship.

She called me one day and told me that her dad found her and to help her escape. But once I got there, her dad was gone and she was sobbing on the floor. I didn't know what happened because she wouldn't tell me but I knew that it wasn't good. She had to move again, so I helped her. She's safe now. Living almost as our neighbor, right next to us. Only a house in between us. Her shot wound is getting better each day.

Madam Danica faced death at my mom's home planet and after that day, of watching her die, I was at peace. She will never hurt anyone ever again.

One day, we were looking at the children yet again, sitting on our bench, watching them play with the play-set out there. Watching them chase each other when Kevin got down on one knee and pulled out a box. He opened it and there was the most beautiful-est diamond ring I have ever seen.
"Kevin?" I was scared but surprised. Is this what I thought this was?
"Shush." He smiled.
"Okay," I whispered.
"Chloe, I love you," he said simply. "I love you with everything I got. And I know that I can't live without you. So, Chloe, would you make me the happiest man alive and please marry me?"
"Yes!" I jumped from the bench and kissed him with everything I had right then. He chuckled and delicately put the beautiful white ring on me. "You keep surprising me, Kevin. Wow." I looked at the ring silently. "I love you." He filled my heart up with joy.
"I love you, I do, babe." he cried but laughed.
Our wedding was beautiful and my dad was there. I wish Svea was here and I kept glancing over to the empty chair that said her name. I never told her that she was like a big sister to me. I miss her so much. And she taught me so much.

I forgave my dad, he had his reasons. She's gone and there's nothing I can do to bring her back. I had another dream of my mom, and she said to forgive, so must mean to forgive my dad.  My dad showed me a picture of this apartment they moved into since they couldn't afford it anymore because dad didn't have a job. The apartment was clean except the boxes on the floor. My dad cried as I walked down the aisle and said my commitments and vows.

Three years later, we have 3 kids. Emme, Bodhi, and Maxie. I love them with all my heart. Well, what's left. We bought a house near the park, our kids love that park where we met. They love to hear our story of how we met, ice cream, papers, and all.
I was cleaning the floor when Emme came running into the house.
"Emme? Be careful of the flo--. Are you okay, honey?" Her eyes were rimmed with red and her nose keep sniffling. She tried to hide her face. "Baby?"
"Leave me alone!" She ran to her room. I followed her. I went into her room to see her ripping out pages.
"Oh, what are you doing, honey?"
She looked right into my eyes. "I'm never going to date, mommy."
"Why?"
"Just go, mom. I just need to be alone. I need to think."
"Okay. I'll be downstairs." As I was back to cleaning the floor, I heard tiny footsteps and saw Emme.
"Mom?" Her eyes was so sad, but she was willingly to talk to me. I was grateful because I can change her mind. I loved how she trusted me enough to talk to me.
"Yes, baby?" When I saw her face, I knew that she wanted to talk now. "Right now?" I asked and she nodded. We walked up the stairs and sat on her bed. She started to speak.
"So it's about a guy that I like. I told him that I liked him and that he was kind." She stopped talking. "I asked him to the dance. But he said no and thought I was crazy for all those cartwheels during recess." I could see that her eyes were getting redder. She started to cry again.
"Baby, there's other boys that you can like. He's not the only one. Beside, boys are stupid at this age."
"Mommy! He was the only guy that I ever liked."
"Baby, I was like that too. But remember about daddy. Okay?" I gave her puppy eyes.
"Yeah. Maybe I could tell him if we could just be friends? No, I'll never live like that with him always there, being a friend." She scoffed. "I guess I could move on. Right?"
"Yes. I know that it's hard. But you are amazing! You can go through this and I'll be here to help you. Anyways, clean up this mess. And I'll be downstairs if you need me. And when you come down, be careful of the floor." I smiled and kissed her head. I walked down the stairs and finished cleaning the floor.
When Kevin came home, he kissed me. "Hello beautiful!"
"Hey gorgeous." I smiled as he chuckled. He is mine. I can call him gorgeous, right?
