It was the same night the gang of the hotel escaped Eron's sacrifice by the cult
The main survivor Eron headed to bed immediately while his coworkers : Jasmine, Jayz and Joseph stayed behind on a balcony and talked
"The kid isn't half bad!" Jayz said with pride and joy, he felt like his hands are going to pop
"For the first time bug, I'll have to agree" Jasmine said with a pessimistic tone
"Oh you little!" Jayz got close to Jasmine, ready to take out his double katanas and start a a fight but Joseph interrupted them and said
"Stop it you two and get some rest, we don't know if someone attacks and we need to be ready for it... maybe Mantus himself, or Archane, or any other mutated weirdo" he said as he took another smoke
"Heh, sweet dreams princess!" Jayz said with a smirk as headed to the stairs to the second floor, where his room was close to Eron's
"Pfft, piss off" Jasmine replied with deep hatred in her eyes as she walked off as well
"Good night... boss..." she said as she walked down the hallway, the green painted walls, and the creek's in the wooden floor followed right with her
"Night" Joseph said as he took another smoke and pondered at the night sky, thinking about his new employee and if will even survive a week with these sun hating monster, ready to kill them at any moment
And as he took another smoke, he heard a voice... a child's voice through out the halls
"Daddy.... Where... are you..." the child's voice echoed through the dead green walls, even making spider web fall with its echo, as Joseph's heart begins to beat fast, and he grips his revolver
"W-who's there?" Joseph, like the first time in his life, sounded truly afraid like never before as started to walk the dead hallway, the creeks of the floor and the cob webs around the place didn't help him as he now grips his revolver like his life depends on it
"Daddy... I'm here... save... me..." the child's voice echoed more and more like it was looping in Joseph's head endlessly but...
He eventually reached the end of the hallway, with an old door slightly opened
Joseph, takes a sigh, before entering the room
In the middle, was a small child, holding a teddy bear and the only light in the room, was the moonlight
His eyes were dark, with a yellow shirt and brown hair he turned around
"...daddy?" He said, like he was scared himself
Joseph's eyes widened, like he saw a ghost
"T-t-Tom..."he mumbled, like tears were about to start pouring out of his eyes and as he got closer
"Tom" smiled devilishly as he said
"You really are gullible... old man"
While this was happening, Jayz was still not asleep, playing on his PlayStation all of them time but suddenly he heard multiple gunshots and screams
"YOU SON OF BITCH! ILL KILL YOU" it was Joseph's voice
"Shit! Boss is in trouble..."
Jayz said in a panic, grabbing his dual katanas and storming out of the room
But while he was doing that, Eron was turning and sweating in his bed, trying to sleep, but it seems a nightmare doesn't let him and eventually he wakes up in a cold sweat with tears running down his face
"Why... why can't I except the shadows of my past..."
He said as he grabbed onto his face and started bawling
