"Get the fuck out of my house" Sinai's drunk mother yelled
"Ma I'm only 14 where am I gonna go" the younger exclaimed. "Ion know but you gon get the fuck up outta here since you wanna touch on MY husband like a slut" the mother said spewing out nonsense "Ma I'm telling you, he touched me, I told him to stop" Sinai said crying, feeling a slap to the face. "Don't no grown man want you lil girl, pack your shit and LEAVE." Sinai's mother yelled once more.
Sinai left the house, bags packed with all her things, her final goodbyes being "FUCK YOU" before slamming the door, crying.
Sinai sat on a corner step when a young boy a year or two older than her stepped up to her "you okay" the boy said making Sinai nod her head no. "Cmon" the boy says helping Sinai get up. The two walk to McDonald's.
The two order some food and sit down. They talk for 3 hours till the boy says something randomly. "Jahari, my name is Jahari" Sinai smiles "My name is Sinai"
The two never saw each other past that day but, Jahari always stayed in Sinai's mind.
