A Beacon of Hope

With a sense of determination burning in her heart, Lucy knew that she couldn't continue to endure Chris's abuse any longer. She reached out to Tim Bradford, her gruff and enigmatic training officer who had become a pillar of strength and support in her darkest hour.

"I'm sorry," he said softly, his voice filled with remorse. "I never meant to hurt you, Lucy. I just... I don't know how to deal with everything that's happened."
