going to class had to be the worst part of lacy's day. especially bio. "i don't understand how you're doing this with such ease." a girl next to lacy pointed at her paper.
"trust me it's not easy, i'm just good at making it look like i know what i'm doing." lacy laughed turning to face the girl sitting next to her, "i'm lacy by the way."
"i'm angelina or lina, i've been wanting to talk to you since the first day of class but i've been too scared." lina blushed slightly looking away from lacy.
"you didn't have to be, i'm always down to make new friends." lacy smiled at the girl in front of her, "i would offer to tutor you but, i'm the one getting tutored tonight for math."
"that's fine, maybe i'll see you around." lina smiled before getting her bag and leaving class. lacy packed up her things and headed to the library, where she's supposed to meet the person that was supposed to tutor her.

"hi, i'm lacy storms. i'm here for tutoring." lacy whispered to the older woman behind the desk.
"okay, your tutor isn't here yet, just sit down over there and wait for her." she told lacy pointing to a table in the corner of the library.
lacy heard the chair across from her squeak against the floor. she looked up and met a pair of blue eyes staring back.

"i didn't plan this." paige cut off the long eye contact sitting down.
"why don't i believe you?" lacy glared at the girl sitting across from her, "how do you even have enough time to tutor?"
paige scoffed at lacy's words and takes a book out of her bag. "i do have to get to practice soon, so can we hurry this up." paige smiled causing lacy to roll her eyes.
"if you're going to act like that than i don't want you as my tutor." lacy huffed crossing her arms.
"lacy, i have to do this, so can we not make this even harder than it already is," paige said as she turned her phone over looking at the time, "listen i have to leave for practice, but i'll text you and we'll work on this later. bye ang-" paige stood up and froze at the word that almost left her lips.
lacy just stared at the girl in front of her not knowing what to say, "yeah, bye." was all that escaped lacy's lips before she quickly gathered her things and left the library.
