Day 5

Midnight

Pandava Camp

Kurukshetra

"You can't control it?"

All the brothers had assembled in the main tent upon their sister's call. Krishna had also joined them due to Indu's insistence. Satyadev, sitting beside Indu, brought Satyalekha and Madhusmriti along with him. The two kids, wearing their favourite hues of yellow and pink, respectively, smiled at their fathers.

Karn's red eyes returned to their default, due to some rest and Indu's pampering. He

"I really can't, especially with the 'no-sleep-for-10-days' punishment which is tiring me." Indulekha replied as her eyes remained fixed on her palm, which emitted a faint white light. "It comes when I want it to, but all it does is glow very lightly and then it stops." As soon as she said that, the glow stopped. A frown crept up her face as she pouted.

"It's kind of cool, Mata!" Smika smiled at her, receiving a nod from her mother.

"It is, it is."

"There's somebody I know who could train you to use this light," The Almighty smiled as he spoke, assuring the Kaliyugi that nothing was wrong. With a sparkle in her eye and a smile etched on her face, she asked him to continue. The brothers smiled at her slight enthusiasm, seeing her elated rather than exhausted like usual.

"That's quite confidential," Kanha winked as she rolled her eyes at him.
"Of course, it is. Tell me later."

"We could train you at night, when you're not going to sleep." He suggested, his voice optimistic and cheery. With his smile wide and eyes gleaming, how could Indu even be afraid of whatever danger that was to befall her?

"Alright, but do not exhaust her even more, Vasudev. Look at her condition, she can barely stay awake." Yudishthir gestured his hands towards a half-asleep Indu, who was resting her head on Satya's shoulder and her eyes drowsily half-closed. He nudged her with his elbow, poking her awake.
