The Nap

3rd person POV

it was a normal day for the smiling critters, they were inside due to the rain outside so dogday decided to have a sleepover. He had prepared snacks and movies and games. They were currently playing truth or dare. "Picky, truth or dare?" Asked hoppy "hmmm...Dare" "I dare you to kiss bubba on the lips" "wait what?" "Yes! I finally have a reason to pull you by the shoulders!" She said happily. Before bubba could even respond she kissed him as hard as she could before pulling away and bubba was a blushing mess "Hey guys...has anybody seen catnap? He's been gone for a while.." Bobby said in a worried voice as she looked around "I haven't seen him either...is he ok?" Dogday started to get worried as well "Maybe we should look for him?" "No way! it's raining outside" Hoppy protested "Hoppy...catnap is my brother and i'm worried he got hurt or maybe worse..we have to find him" Dogday said as he stood up "I'm going to find him, anybody coming with?" after a moment of silence they all agreed to go with him and they made their journey through playcare until they went into the power room (The room where catnap dies in the game) And found catnap...with he prototype... "C-catnap...?" Catnap turned around to see his friends behind him and his eyes widened "guys...what are you doing here..." "Looking for you..what are you doing..?" "I....I can explain--" The prototype spoke (it can speak in my AU) "aww isn't that cute, catnaps little girlfriend was looking for him, how sweet" "YOU! LET HIM GO!" "hmm...how about..No" "I'm....sorry bobby....i'm with him..." Bobby's eyes widened as she heard this and tears formed in her eyes "W-what....?" The prototype laughed "HAHAHA! See?! He's mine now!" Bobby was in tears and so was dogday "Catnap..." "Guys....let's go...he clearly has a new leader now.." dogday said as he wiped his tears and walked away, and the others followed. Catnap held back tears as he looked away from the group and down at the ground "Don't be sad kitty..you don't need them" Said the prototype. The others made their way back to dogday's house in the rain. They step inside and dogday shakes off the water and goes to his room "I'm going to bed" he said as he closes his room door and crafty follows him "Hey...dogday..? Are you ok?..." "I...I'm fine crafty...just....upset is all.." She sat down next to him as he suddenly hugged her "why...would he do this..." Dogday said in tears. Crafty hated seeing dogday crying, it made her cry. "Dogday...*Sniff* I-It's gonna be ok.....I promise...." For the next few days bobby was mostly at her place, due to catnap not being around anymore. The girls decided to check on her "Heyyy, bobby.." Hoppy tried to lighten the mood "I see you decorated...looks good" Crafty sat next to her "Hey....its gonna be alright B.B...maybe he will come back?" "Whats the point C.C?...He made his choice.." "I promise, he might change his mind about it.." "*Sigh*..sorry for being a downer here...it just feels..weird without him here...without him leaning on me half asleep.." "I have an idea!" Hoppy exclaimed "Maybe we could convince the prototype to let him go! :D" "That...could work...but we'd have to do it when the boys are busy" "Yeah! or asleep, so we can do it tonight!" "Are you sure..?" "Sure i'm sure! When have I ever been wrong?" "....that time we tried to sneak out but the boys caught us.." "Forget that, recently" "Well..never in that case" "Exactly! now lets plan this out!" They plan it out and later that night they successful sneaked out of their houses "Alright, lets go, just how we planned!" They sneak into the power room and find catnap asleep under where the prototype comes out from. "Ok, so we grab catnap and run out before the protype see's us" "And if he does see us?" "I-...I haven't thought about that yet..guess we fight him!" As Bobby goes to pick up catnap, He is suddenly grabbed by the prototype. "Well sh**" "Hoppy!" "Sorry crafty -_-" The prototype laughed as he spoke "You really thought you could just grab him and go?! You were so wrong!" Catnap suddenly woke up and saw the girls "What are you guys doing here?!" "Saving you from that!" "Guys, I already told you! I'm with him!" "Catnap! I need you to listen to-- woah!" The prototype dropped catnap and grabbed all the girls with his wires. "So, my little puppet, its either them, or me!" Catnap's eyes widened as the prototype said this, he didn't want to have to choose between the two "Catnap, please! I...I miss you...it feels weird without you! it feels empty without your sleepy presence!" Bobby said through tears as the prototype squeezed her tighter "Dude, you can do this! I know I'm never the nicest to you...but I do really care about you! Even if I don't show it!" Hoppy said as she smiled and the prototype squeezed her tighter as well "C-Catnap..me and all the smiling critters care about you, we may not show it very well...but we don't keep you for your gas...we keep you with us because we care about you and never want you to leave!" Picky agreed with crafty as the prototype squeezed them all tighter as catnap had tears in his eyes "I choose.....them." The prototype dropped them as they all fell to the floor and catnap ran and hugged Bobby tightly "Catnap you did it!" She kissed him on the cheek and he blushed and smiled. They all went home and dogday was the first to see catnap and hugged him tightly "Catnap your back! I missed you so much!" "I...missed you too.." That was the first time catnap actually smiled towards dogday. the others joined the hug and they never had to deal with the prototype again
