A man fell in love today
A quiet girl
No lovely mademoiselle
Her name must've been Jane
no fancy dresses she wore
Nor contoured her face
The quiet girl
Was pretty for her heart
The things she said
He loved her words
Her thoughts as well
She was made of dreams
The only beauty came from her thoughts
He loved her plain
The quiet girl was lovely in her own way
