PLOT : June and Lucas Turner have been on their own since they could ever remember. The world is an ugly and unforgiving place, where misfits always got the short end of the stick. And that's exactly what the Turner sibling were, misfits.

Their backstory was as cliché as it was sad, negligence by one parent and abandonment by the other.

With only a couple of shitty half-time jobs and a dingy apartment, the Turners only had each other to cling on for support.

Moving from town to town, dodging Foster Care, and just struggling altogether, that was their life.

Enter August Stone, the class clown and annoying neighbor. He doesn't change anything, but he does make things more lighthearted.
