"Norah, are you sure this looks okay?" Jace whined. His dark jeans fit him perfectly, and the blue shirt he had on made his eyes looking amazing. I rolled my eyes as a I brushed his hair back, messing it up slightly.

"It looks amazing," I huffed. "For the hundredth time."

He stuck out his tongue at me and stepped away, looking one last time in the mirror before walking out of his room. I followed him to the living room where he collapsed on the couch. I laid down beside him and put my feet up in his lap.

"That dress is killer," He complimented off-handedly. "Do you know when Aaron and Alice will be here?"

"I told them six, and the food should be here around that time, too," I answered. There was a pause before I spoke again. "AndHarryiscomingatseven."

Jace's head shot up from the couch and he narrowed his eyes at me. "What did you say?"

"Uhm, they should be here at six."

"After that."

"The food should be here around that time too?"

"Norah!" He scolded. I groaned and dropped my head into my hands.

"And Harry will be here at seven," I muttered. I felt his eyes on me and I slowly peeked through my fingers. Jace looked half amused, half pissed off with his skinny arms crossed in front of him. "H invited himself!"

"It was supposed to be a fun night out with just us four!"

"Harry will be fine!" I defended. "He doesn't even know we're going clubbing. He probably won't want to come when he finds out where we're going," I continued, crinkling my nose. "I mean, do you really see him as the clubbing kind of guy?"

"No," He sighed. "Whatever, Norah. But if I hear you two fuc-"

"Jace!" I screeched, throwing a pillow at him. He quickly deflected it and stuck out his tongue at me before scurrying out of the room. I heard him clinking around in the kitchen when the doorbell rung. "I've got it!"

I swung open the door and pulled Alice and Aaron into my arms, hugging them tightly. Aaron had on black pants with a white button down shirt, sleeves rolled up and unbuttoned. Alice had on a short, silky purple dress. "You guys look amazing!"

"You don't look to bad yourself, hot stuff," Alice teased, pulling me once again into her arms. "I'm so excited for tonight. Work has been so stressful."

"I know," I agreed as I led them into the kitchen. Jace had us all glasses of wine already poured. "Victoria's been worse than usual. Now that the show's over maybe it'll be better again."

"I hope so," Aaron muttered.

We sat around the table, talking and laughing and making fun of Victoria while we waited for the Chinese food to get here. the doorbell rung and Jace jumped up, scurrying to the door with a squeal of excitement.

He came back brandishing two large brown paper bags full of food. The scent of fried rice and sesame chicken filled the apartment. We all stood up and rushed to the food, fighting over the egg rolls. I snuck my hand in and managed to get everything I wanted before scurrying back to the table.

A very pissed off Aaron came next, grumbling about how Alice stole his egg roll. Following him was a triumphant Alice and a smirking Jace. They all sat back down at the table.

"You okay, Aaron?" I teased, biting into my egg roll to make him jealous.

He turned and scolded at Alice. "I would be if someone hadn't stolen my egg roll."
