Meanwhile, in New York, a black woman who appeared to be in her late forties was sitting behind a large cherry oak desk going through the papers that were being handed to her by her assistance Valerie.

She was about to place her signature on one of the last documents that were placed in front of her when she noticed the name listed big and bold on the top of the paper.

She lifted the paper up seeing that it was from North Carolina and she only knew of one person that was currently living in that state.

She realized that it was a doctor's bill for her niece that was rushed to the emergency room and spent two days in the hospital. Why was she just now hearing about this?

She glanced over at Valerie who had the signed documents in her hands waiting for her to finish signing the one she currently had at this time.

"Why am I getting a medical bill on Samantha going to the hospital?"

Valerie shrugged her shoulders. "Honestly, I don't know. Everything in regards to your niece was sent up here."

The older woman hummed in response as she pulled the paper back down and once more at the document, curious as to why her niece was in the hospital. "Val, dial her number so I can get to the bottom of this."

Val nodded her head as she placed down the papers in her hand and left her boss's office to make the call.

Back with Sami, she noticed the three people coming towards her as they exit out of the car. She saw Mrs. Jung, Tim, and lastly Hoseok walking towards here.

Tim was the first to approach her as he kept bowing over and over apologizing for them being tardy. "I'm very sorry for being late, Sami. At the last minute, we had to pick Hoseok up from the airport, and traffic was hectic coming to your residence."

Immediately after saying that, Sami switched her focus over to Hoseok who at the same time did the same as he removed his face mask from his face. He lowered his eyes do to her stomach as she placed her hands on top.

Once he found out that his mother and Tim had spoken to Sami about the pregnancy, he spoke with Lee about having a family emergency and needed to leave immediately.
