Title: Judge Me Not

Poem:

Pain is nothing but a simple compromise

I saw her cut herself to relieve the unbearable emotion

And did nothing but stare and judge

The only strangers in my life are those who claim to know me

I heard the wavering sobs escape her black lungs

And did nothing but listen and judge

Tired of this world she willing sacrificed her soul

I wanted to fit in so badly I couldn't bring myself to help her

And now that she's gone I am the one who everyone stares at and judge

My thoughts: deeply moving and emotional. It resonates with the pain of seeing someone close to you suffer, but staying silent.

I think this poem brings to like the horrors in vivid imagery and descriptions.

Really makes you think... Are you someone who "did nothing but listen and judge".
