Farah hummed to a random song as she wandered down the dirt road. The way back to Selapos would definitely be longer than when she had taken the carriage, but then again, when she was out of eyesight of everyone, she'd be able to use a spell to get back to the kingdom.

A call was heard in the distance, causing Farah to furrow her brow in confusion. Who would be calling to someone out here? Turning to see who it was, Farah frowned, seeing a horse hurdling towards her. As the animal drew nearer, she recognized the steed to be Atlas. Looking closer, she realized it was Caspian atop Atlas, calling out her name. Blinking, she watched Caspian pull back the reigns, causing the stallion to halt.

"Cas, what are you-" Farah frowned, speechless. The Prince dismounted Atlas, watching Farah as she searched for words to say, her green orbs glimmering in confusion. The Prince shook his head, stepping closer to Farah.

"Farah, I-I've been trying to tell you this for a while, I suppose, but my timing has always been, well, horrible," Caspian laughed to himself airily before continuing slowly. "As a child, I dreamed of sweeping a Princess off her feet and making her feel like I could protect her from everything. I've always imagined this.... this fairy-tale ending for some random Princess and I," he looked into Farah's eyes, her face still filled with confusion as she watched Caspian's golden irises glimmer the way they always did when he was saying something important. "It wasn't until I became closer friends with you, that I realized that I didn't want to sweep some....some random Princess to safety before falling in love and marrying her. Well, I-I don't want it to be some random Princess. I want it to be you. I want to be with you, Farah," Caspian finished, smiling softly. Farah felt her heart rate speed up as he spoke, opening and closing her mouth, trying to decide what to say. Was he really confessing to her? Was he even allowed to?

"Cas, w-what are you trying to say?" Farah asked, her speech airy and nervous as she was afraid she had the wrong idea of what he was trying to say.

"Farah, I love you," Caspian grinned, his face inches from Farah's. At his words, Farah paused, feeling she was going to explode with happiness, although unsure how to express it. Watching as he got down on his knee, Farah blinked, raising a brow.

"What are you doing, Cas-?"

"Farah, I love you, and have loved you since I can remember. Finally with my parents permission, I would like to ask you-" Farah's hands clasped over her mouth as she noticed what Caspian was doing. "-will you make me the happiest, most joyous person alive, and marry me?"

"Oh my god," Farah managed to speak in a whisper, her eyes wide as she watched him. "C-Caspian, yes. Yes, yes!" The brunette nearly yelled with excitement, her eyes watering with happiness. Caspian grinned, slipping the ring on Farah's finger.

Standing up, the Prince wrapped his arms around Farah's waist, pressing his lips against hers. At his movements, Farah felt butterflies erupt in her stomach, although she soon placed her arms around the Prince's neck, returning the gesture. Farah eventually pulled away from the kiss, placing her forehead against his, looking into Caspian's golden irises, still beaming uncontrollably. Reaching up, Farah pecked Caspian's lips once more, before speaking, "I love you, Cas," placing her head on Caspian's chest, hugging him close to her.

The two stood there for what felt like forever, before heading back to the palace, ready to have their own Happily Ever After.
