a part of me always hopes
you'll turn around
and choose me instead of them.
even when i know you won't
i can't stop but wonder.
so time after time
i will let you shatter my heart
and drown me in disappointment.
but it's okay,
because it's you.
i wouldn't want to be broken by anyone else.
