Chapter 5 : Unbloomed Flower

⭐Steven P.O.V⭐

I stand on the middle platform of the stairs.My cheeks were red.I looked up the stairs to see if Y/N will come down.A thought of her undressed made me turned my face turned completely red.I tried force the thoughts of my head.No luck.I walked down the stairs and went to seat down on the couch.I put each hand in a jacket pocket and lean back on the couch with a flop.I stared at the ceiling and sighed defeated.I talked to myself as my cheek turn back into normal

"Why am I thinking this?I just met her.I was so happy to met someone just like me.Is this normal to feel this so quick?"

I pulled my phone out my back pocket and look up 'Is it normal to be attracted to a person you just met?'.I found that it is normal to attracted to someone you just met but being in love with one is different.I put my phone up and started to relaxed knowing what happening is normal.Suddenly I heard the door opened,I quickly eyed towards the door to see Connie.She had a bright smile on her face as she walked in.She close the door behind her.She jogged over to me as I sat up.I said

"Hi Connie!When did you get back to earth?"

She giggles very cutely and said

"When you went with..Y/N,I went back to met my mom to tell her about the party your having tomorrow"

My right eyebrow lifted and asked

"What party?"

She said

"Um you know,the day you change the diamonds mind"

A flood of reality water hit me hard.I practically screamed

"Oooohhhh my gooossshhhh,I almost forget about that!"

Suddenly a soft voice asked in a panic voice

"Steven,Is everything alright?!"

I turned my head towards the sounds of voice to see a wonderful sight.My eyes soften to see Y/N in the clothing I gave her.My old red star shirt was big on her  but she made it work.The tight blue jean perfectly complimented her legs.The one thing that looked torn was her shoes.My cheek heated up a tiny bit.Reality just stopped.I was just me and her.I reassured her

"Yeah,everything fine"

She sighed relief as she title her head down and closed her eyes.She titled her head back up and stare into my eyes.I grin at her and she shyly grins backs.I gasps as the wind of reality brought me back.Connie was here.I turned to her as she a uneasy grin upan her face.I said unsure

"Connie,umm.......(Come on Steven think of something)....ME AND Y/N ARE GOING AROUND TOWN NOW!"

I quickly said our my thought with no restraints.I sighed in my head annoyed fo what I said.Connie see a bit shocked but said sounding a bit sad

"Oh...okay...that fine I understand."

She quickly leaves before I could say or do anything.I was shocked what just happened and just said.Why did I say that?I stare out the door.Water started to pile up in my eyes.Then,I felt a pair of small hand grab my right arm.The pair of hand told me

"Steven are you okay?"

I turned my head towards the pair of hands.Y/N eyebrow lowered and a unhappy smile.I gave her a fake reasure smile and said

"Yay I'm....alright.Lets go around town"

She softly smile back.

I layed my back down on the hill of the crystal temple as the sun reaches its highest peak.I closed my eyes as I felt Y/N sitting very close to me.The wind gently sway my hair back and forth.I think of Connie and how I made her really upset.I could of say that she could of come with us.I could of brought her with her when I show Y/N around the house.I could of done a lot of things but I didn't do.A soft voice soon say

"Thanks you,Steven."

I tried to make my voice sounded that I was alright as I asked

"For what?"

She pauses for a second before saying

"For Everything today,I couldn't ask for a better person to make me understand the world around me."

I sat up as I opened my eyes.I turned my head towards her.She had the sweetest smile on her faces which made blush a little.I grin at her kindly and said

"Your welcome,I couldn't let you discover it yourself"

She chuckled a little but the happiness dead in her.She turned her head away from me.I looked at her worried and asked

"Is everything alright?"

She didn't glanced at me to say

"Steven....do I have to be as great as you like the diamond said.."

I was worried of what she said.I don't want her to think she has to be me.I don't want another repeat.A idea popped into my head.I get up and handed my hand out towards her.I said

"Come with me."

She grabs my hand and I pulled her up on her feet.I brought right next to the light houses where two single rose were next to each other.I let go of her hand to squat down to see the roses.One rose was a rose-pink that has yet to fully bloom.The other was still hiding as only thing that showed as a four petals of pastel colors of blue,turquoise,purples.I told her

"As you can see,these are yet to be fully bloomed.One has already started its blooming and still beautiful but is yet to show its true beauty.The other is hiding scared of its friends not liking is beautiful because of the other being very beautiful.But what it doesn't know,that no matter how different it is from the other.It still will be beautiful.That unbloomed rose is you,Y/N"

Y/N had already squat next to me before she questioned

"What?"

I frowned as the memories of the times that I was in her place.I told her with a little choke

"You don't let people,tell what you have to be.You decide that fate."

It was silence for a minute as a soft breeze pass by.She quietly say

"Okay,um.....about that party I heard"

I looked at her as I hold my tears back.I stand back up and handed my hand out towards her.She grabs it and I ,once again,bring her to her feet.I soft said

"Yeah....come on.Let go back home,I'll tell you all about the party."
