Wandering together down the woods,
All alone for quite a while.
We came across a narrow road,
That looked like a wedding aisle. The yellow leaves on the ground,
Were the only ones who made the crowd.
With not a single soul in sight,
The silence felt blissfully loud. The wind sang the wedding march,
And the flower I held made a bouquet
The trees around us danced to the music,
This was going to be a beautiful day.A couple of stones made the altar
Where we shared our very first kiss.
And I assure you that those few moments
Were filled with absolute bliss.I couldn't look away from you,
As my heart crowned you its king.
Soon enough we had to leave,
but I'll never forget this marriage without a ring.If I could cherish a memory
All through my life,
Undoubtedly it'd be this morning,
Repeating forever in my mind.A/N—Agh 2019 is over, HAPPY NEW YEAR Y'ALL (lmao no one reads these anyways but eh). Have I mentioned that I suck at giving a title to my poems, and that I suck at poetry in general lol...I just wanted to publish on New Year's Day and that's the sole reason I published this... I am cringing so hard ahhhh
